The Brisbane Festival has been launched. You will see lots of advertising for

the many fabulous events in September.

Art Shed Brisbane was approached for help with the GOA Billboards project.

You might see some giant sized kids' artworks on GOA billboards

around Brisbane soon. Can you imagine how the kids will feel when they

see their painting 6m x 3m? 

We are delighted to be a part of this project. 

Art Shed Brisbane... inspiring creativity!

G'day!

We've just had a busy week with ARTIZ, young artists residency; 23 students

from all over the state were brought to the Uni of Qld and "immersed in art".

This was thanks to our partners Flying Arts Inc. 

Our Kate and Tianni gave a painting demo on the Tuesday, and I introduced the kids

to their first life drawing class on the Thursday evening. It was all a big hit.

World famous artists Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan did a workshop and the result

was an installation of cardboard boats, see pics below

The bug is one of the wearable art creations!

Exciting news! We have SOAPSTONE. Ours is the West Australian Flamestone variety.

We are the sole distributors for this lovely stone.

This is not the usual pale grey fractured talc stone that got around in the past.

Ours has beautiful tan, grey and green-grey colours. Some pieces have a redish ochre hue.
