Art Shed's "Art Kitchen"

A great place to come and try art materials, meet with art interested people. An "arts hub".

Art Shed Brisbane is proud to announce its “Art Kitchen”.  This corner of our store has been set up for you to try samples of almost any of our art materials. There is no obligation to buy. We have a printing press, oils and acrylics of all makes, gouache and watercolour painting and drawing gear, sculpting materials, airbrush … and more.

 The materials of art seduce us with their potential. Imagine that without having to buy them, you could actually try some of these products. Test them and experience the feel, the texture and colour of the materials, and see how they behave, and what results are possible.

A variety of guest artists, working in different mediums, will cook up their creations in-store regularly. In our store, your possibilties multiply. All for you, from your fellow artists at Art Shed.

SOME CONDITIONS

1. Please ask one of our team before starting
2. Children must be under constant adult supervision while in the art kitchen
3. Please be mindful of excessive waste
4. Please be mindful of others and don't "hog" the area or materials
5. Aprons and gloves are available. Regardless, we will not be responsible for staining/damage of clothes
6. Please replace materials to correct containers and tidy up afterwards
7. We reserve the right to refuse access to the art kitchen and its resources to anyone and without explanation.
