Professional canvas stretching service at the most affordable prices. Samples of our work are available in-store.

• Wide range of stretcher bar profiles and timbers, including Pine, Western Red Cedar and Victorian Ash hardwood.

• We use European Mitre Joins. These are not strainers (like picture frames) but true stretchers (wedges and D-rings included)

• Wide choice of over twenty canvas types available, including primed or un-primed cotton duck; linen (fine or coarse weave), coloured and clear-primed. Heavy Latvian linen and archival 100% polyester canvas are also available, as are the Carravaggio and Wholesale canvas company's range.

• Choose from a wide range of traditional imperial sizes or thanks to our chop service, determine your own dimensions down to the millimeter.

• We also stretch completed artworks.

• Agent for Rebul "Ultimate Protection" carry crates.

Our stretching expert has over 10 years of experience. He has prepared canvases for some of Australia's most celebrated and collectable artists.

Terms:  The usual order to pick-up time is 2 weeks. For urgent orders, please speak directly with our staff.  For orders with a deadline, please ensure we are aware.

Prices do not include transport. Pick-up is from Art Shed Brisbane at 274 Montague Road , West End. We will notify you when your canvases are ready.

While every care shall be taken -we will treat your artworks more carefully than our own - we are not liable for damage to artworks given to us to stretch. Please consider insuring your valuable works.
