Merv Moriarty Releases The Colour Bible
Merv Moriarty was at the Art Shed, Brisbane, at 6.30pm on Monday 21th November, to pre-launch his new book "Colour – The Definitive Guide".
Based on decades of experience, and using the latest computer technology to prove his new theory of “colour interval”, Merv has developed a system of analysing colour combinations that will allow designers, artists and photographers to use colour in perfect pitch and harmony.

Merv Moriarty, the founder of Flying Arts, art educator, artist and author, presented the book, which includes his HPT Colour Guide and is set to change the way designers, artists and photographers - anyone working with colour - understands and uses colour.
The book will be officially launched at the National Library of Australia in the New Year.
As a teacher in art, colour and design, Merv has worked in colleges and universities, and in private art schools. In the early nineteen seventies he founded the “Flying Art School” now “Flying Arts” and the Brisbane Institute of Art, both of which still operate as major art education and facilitation bodies. To read more about Merv, his books and his workshop program go to www.mervmoriarty.com
Merv Moriarty is also the author of The Eye’s Mind - The Artist and the Draftsman. Colour - The Definitive Guide is now available online or through the Art Shed.
