At Flying Fox Studios, we believe in promoting the enjoyment of a life lived creatively. As educators working with children on a daily basis, we seek to encourage creativity and originality in and through both skill development, and play.

From small babies, right up to adults, play is a way that we process our experiences and make sense of the world. Here at Flying Fox Studios we provide opportunities for imaginations, skills and confidence to grow and develop, in a fun and original way.

Since opening in Everton Park in 2006, our studio and store has employed a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths) focus, which runs through all the classes and workshops we offer.

We are one of the very fist makerspace studios to open in Australia, and have been proudly building our offerings over the last 10 years.

We are a Brisbane owned and operated family business, with a commitment to children and the arts. We run regular weekly term classes; Kindermusik, Zoom Art Class for Kids, and Fox Blocks Enginnering. We also offer PlayDates on selected Wednesday mornings as well as a fabulous (and popular) school holiday activity program.

Each week hundreds of children pass through our doors, participate in our classes and enjoy our family friendly facilities. We pride ourselves on offering a place where children can grow and learn in an environment that encourages creativity, imagination, and divergent thinking.

Over the last 10 years we have seen thousands of children attend our classes and workshops. We have also developed a wonderful children’s store Fox Shop on site, stocked full of hand picked toys and gifts chosen to support our love of creative play and learning.
