Inkodye is a simplified modern way of achieving image transfer onto fabric through using a light sensitive dye. It cuts out the mess that comes from screenprinting and your left with soft fabric with a beautiful detailed image.
Inkodye is a vat dye that is ready to use right from the bottle. It is the most permanent type of dye available for natural fibers. It will not stiffen fabric and is able to withstand strong soaps, boiling water, rubbing, dry-cleaning, common bleaches and sunlight for moderate periods of time.
Using Lumi's app you can create a negative using your own image or choose from a selection of stock images to get you started. Photoshop, and other image editing software, can also be used to create a digital negative. After you have your design ready to go just print onto the Inkofilm transparent inkjet film using an inkjet printer, paint on some colour and let the sun do the rest.
