Twelve pastels, six of them single pigment, make a starter set that takes you from quick sketches to finished work without the chalky mess.

Features

  • 12 Neoart 6901 pastels, half of them made from one pigment, which keeps mixes clean and bright
  • Nine colours rated LFI and three LFII under ASTM D-6901
  • Octagonal sticks, 10 x 68mm, that stay put on the table
  • Wax and oil formula that lays down satin colour with no dust and no fixative
  • Blends with a fingertip, paper stump or colour shaper
  • Suits paper, board, canvas, glass and timber
  • Certified to ASTM D-6901 and ASTM D-4236, made in Geneva, Switzerland

Neoart is made in Geneva at the company's own workshops and carries the Swiss Made label. It is the most recent addition to the 6901 family, which shares its lightfastness standard with the Luminance pencils.

Staff tip

Start on toned or dark paper. The sticks sit up on the surface and look luminous, and you will see quickly how much pigment each one carries.
