Shipping policy

Please note: We kindly ask for your patience, as all delivery dates provided are just an estimate. Our team works hard to make sure your order leaves the store on time, but as a small business, no guarantees of any specific dates or timeframes can be made. If your order is urgent, please call ahead and we will do our best to accommodate you.

At Art Shed Brisbane, we're committed to delivering your order as safely and efficiently as possible. We use carrier-calculated shipping rates via Australia Post and StarTrack, with options tailored to suit different order types and locations.

 

Shipping Options

  • Standard Delivery
    • Dispatch: Standard orders can take up to 10 business days to leave the store.
    • Transit: Typically 3 to 5 business days once dispatched; allow up to 7 days for NT, WA, TAS, and remote areas.
  • Express Delivery
    • Dispatch: Orders placed before 12 PM (AEST) are usually dispatched within 3 business days, but may take up to 5 business days.
    • Transit: Typically 1 to 3 business days once dispatched; allow up to 7 days for remote WA, NT, and TAS.
  • StarTrack Bulky Freight Delivery
    • In the case that your order includes bulky items, it will be shipped via courier using StarTrack Express. This applies to items over 22kg or larger than 100cm.

 

Oversized and Hazardous Goods

  • Oversized Items: Additional charges may apply. These are usually calculated at checkout and noted on the product page.
  • Dangerous Goods: Products such as flammable items are clearly marked and may be restricted to Brisbane pick-up only. If shipping is possible, please contact us or request a quote via the product page. If a hazardous item is not tagged correctly, we will be in touch to confirm options before shipping.

 

In Store Pickup

We offer an In Store Pickup service (Click & Collect) from our Brisbane store.

  • Please allow 1 to 3 business days for preparation of your order for pickup.
  • You will be notified via email when your order is ready for collection.
  • Please note that if you arrive before the required preparation time, your order may not be ready to be collected.

 

Issues with your order?

If upon delivery of your order there is any damage or discrepancy of goods supplied, this must be reported to Art Shed Brisbane within 7 business days of receipt of goods in order to be rectified. Please send information along with photos to sales@artshedbrisbane.com.au. Our team will assess the concerns and do everything in our power to reach a resolution.

 

Delivery Liability and Order Tracking

  • Liability: Once your order is collected by the courier, Art Shed Brisbane is not liable for delays, damage, or non-delivery.
  • Shipping Stretched Canvases: To minimise damage in transit, all stretched canvases must be ordered in quantities of two or more. We take care with packing, but Art Shed Brisbane cannot accept liability for damage once in transit.
  • Tracking: Tracking details are emailed once your order has been dispatched.
  • Australia Post: You can opt for "Authority to Leave" at checkout.
  • StarTrack: "Authority to Leave" is applied by default unless a signature is requested. If no one is available for a signature-required delivery, a card will be left to arrange pickup or redelivery.
