Techniques

Watercolor Effects: Activate the pigments with water to create intense, permanent washes.

Layering & Blending: Build up colors and add depth by layering after the wash has dried.

Fabric Art: Use on fabrics, fixing designs by hand-washing in cool water below 30°C.

Fine Detailing: Use with a dry technique for sharp lines or blend with water for smooth transitions.

Directions

For Intense Washes: Apply color dry to the paper, then activate with a wet brush to see pigments intensify.

Permanent Layers: Allow washes to dry fully; add new layers on top without disturbing previous colors.

Fabric Application: Apply directly to fabric and activate with water. Fix by hand-washing gently with mild detergent in cool water.

For Best Results: Pair with Derwent Inktense Paper, use with Push Button Waterbrushes or Spritzers, and sharpen with a Battery Twin Hole Sharpener.
