Draw a night sky full of fireworks, following a lesson that comes with twenty four Prismacolor Premier pencils. Scan the code printed on the pack and work through it one burst at a time.

In the box

  • 24 Prismacolor Premier Soft Core pencils
  • Tin
  • Online lesson opened by QR code

Staff tip

Map each burst with a light pencil first, then add the dark sky last. Dark pencil laid over bright colour looks dull, but when it is worked with care around the bursts, they glow.

Work outward from the middle of each burst using brisk, short marks, on smooth drawing or Bristol paper, which holds many layers. After the lesson, the set works as a full palette for any subject.
