- Part A of a two-part system.
- Surface preparation for increased adhesion of paint.
Part A of Jo Sonja's two-part Glass & Tile System.
The addition of Jo Sonja's Glass & Tile Medium (Part B) will transform Jo Sonja's Artists' Colours into glass & tile paint.
Directions:
- Ensure surface is clean and dry. Use a soft dry brush to apply a generous coat of Glass & Tile Primer (Part A) to area to be decorated.
- Allow to air dry (approximately 5-10 minutes).
- Glass & Tile Primer provides a thin, transparent bonding film which is required to increase adhesion of the paint to the surface.
- Proceed with Part B of the system using Jo Sonja's Glass & Tile Medium following label instructions. The use of Jo Sonja's Artists' Colours is recommended for best results.
- Adhesion and durability require adequate Glass & Tile Medium in contact with the surface.
- Any residue from the application of Glass & Tile Primer that is left on the surface after decorating may be buffed away using a soft cloth.
- When painting is complete, a minimum of 2 weeks cure time is necessary for maximum durability. Time varies depending on climate and humidity. Clean up with mild soap and cool water.
