Twenty-four Gansai Tambi colours that are completely different from the classic 24 set: soft pastels, muted greens and warm earth shades, from Saffron Yellow and Coral Pink to Shadow Green and Venetian. Paint beside the first set and you have 48 colours with no doubles.

Gansai Tambi are Japanese watercolours in large pans. Thin them with water for clear washes, or use them thick for strong, opaque colour that dries with a slight sheen. The set has no white or black, and comes with a blank colour chart to fill in.
