Care and tips
A silicone baking mat makes a good drawer liner, since a quick wipe clears it and no scrubbing is needed for dried paint. On windy days, hang your backpack from the centre hook for extra ballast.
Dampen a cloth to lift paint drips. Stubborn marks call for mild soapy water, then dry it straight away. Once a year, a coat of clear furniture wax helps the black finish look deep and shed water.
Long spells of wet weather or strong sun can warp timber and fade the stain, so dry the easel after outdoor use and store it somewhere cool.
