Turn a painted view into something you can post. These ten A6 cards are 300gsm, 100% cotton watercolour paper. The front is blank for painting, and the reverse already has address lines.
Features
- Cards: 10 A6 postcards (105 x 148mm), kept in a cardboard envelope
- Paper: 300gsm, 100% cotton and cold pressed, which is real watercolour paper rather than thin card
- Surface: cold pressed, giving some grip for washes and fine detail
- Back: address lines already printed, ready for a message and posting
Staff tip
Batch your backgrounds. Lay out all ten, wash skies or soft colour across each one, and let them dry flat. Later, a few minutes with a brush can add a tiny vessel, a palm or a figure, and you have a nearly finished card waiting.
Paint a view from your last trip, a garden flower or your dog mid nap, then post it to someone you love. Art Spectrum points to watercolour, gouache or pigmented inks as the right media, and we agree. Christmas cards are a natural fit too. Let paint dry fully before writing on the back, and tape the card down with masking tape for a crisp white frame.
