Florals, skies and loose washes all suit this pair, and they work well for ink painting too. Dampen the brush thoroughly before starting, pick up colour from a deep pool, and grip a little higher on the handle. Rinse in cool water after each session.
Staff tip
Load the brush fully, touch the paper once and draw one slow stroke, then step back. Holding back on dabs matters, because squirrel hair carries so much colour that the stroke does the work.
