A single box that covers oil, acrylic and watercolour. Its mix of firm and soft fibres moves heavier paint and still carries thin washes, so one set can handle most of your painting.
Features
- Five brushes in assorted shapes
- Synthetic fibres of mixed thickness for snap and colour load
- Suited to oil, acrylic and watercolour
- Broad shapes for laying down big areas, finer shapes handle edges, detail and linework
- Lacquered wooden case closed with a brass clasp, which keeps tips safe
- Care: clean straight after painting. Acrylic and watercolour come off with soap and cool water, while oil needs solvent or brush cleaner first. Reshape and dry flat.
Staff tip
Black Gold copes with oil and water-based paint, but a brush that has seen oil rarely feels quite the same in watercolour afterwards. If you can, keep a separate set for water-based work.
