Gold and silver, plus red, purple, blue and green, all with real metallic shine. The ink also writes on glossy and matte surfaces, and on both light and dark papers, so it reaches past paper to tags, baubles and coated card.

  • 10 Bold tip, 1.0mm ball, broadest of the usual Gelly Roll tips
  • Pigment gel ink that is water based, odourless and made in Japan
  • Pigment based, stable, waterproof and fade resistant, as rated by Sakura
  • Used for tags, Christmas craft and gifts, plus dark paper, layering over colour and gel pens

Staff tip

Lay them flat in a drawer, not standing nib up. Metallic particles are heavier than ordinary gel ink and settle, and laying them flat keeps ink reaching the ball.

Glossy and coated stock dries more slowly, so leave finished tags unstacked. On a curved bauble, keep strokes short and turn the object, since a dragged pen skips. Test a hidden spot first.
