- Every pen takes a 10 Bold point, measuring 1.0 mm across, the thickest of the common Gelly Roll sizes
- Pigment gel ink on a water base, made in Japan and odourless
- Supplied by the Australian distributor, so the codes and packaging match the Australian market
Staff tip
Trial each pen on offcuts of the stock you intend to use before starting. The two Stardust pens act differently from the rest, and it is far better to learn that on offcuts than halfway down a page.
The Metallics also write on light and dark papers, and on glossy and matte surfaces, so gift tags, baubles and coated card are fair game. Keep the fluorescent Moonlights out of direct sunlight, since Sakura say they can fade, and keep the Stardust pair for decorative work, because its sparkle can lift over time.
