Description
Jasart Floating Frames are designed for stretched canvas & wooden art boards. The Floater Frames create the illusion that the artwork is floating within the frame allowing you to attach the artwork in the centre of the panel cradle frame protecting your artwork.
The frames are designed with a wider base that prevents damage to the panel cradle and a higher profile and deeper rabbet to protect the corners of your wood panel artwork.
Frames are available to suit both thin 19mm and thick 38mm edge profiles and are made from heavy duty solid FSC pine wood.
Note: The frame sizes refer to the canvas or board size that can be used within the frame. The frame is slightly larger than size specified.
How to assemble:
Frames include clear assembly instructions. Each frame comes complete with Mounting & Hanging Hardware.
Simply place your artwork into the front of the frame, centre your artwork using four spacers (these can be small offcuts of wood or scrap pieces of foam or card), these hold your artwork in place and avoid and movement during assembly.
Secure the artwork in place using the Bugle head screws into the pre-drilled holes. Ensure the screws are secured tight so the head of the screw sits flat with the back of the frame.
Measure third of the way down each side of the frame for placement of the hanging hooks. Secure these hooks using the Button head screws.
Place the foam dots onto the back bottom corners of the frame - this will ensure your frame will hang flat on the wall.
Additional equipment required but not included is Phillips head screw driver, pencil, ruler and spacers.
