Gel printing gives you a different print every time, and this kit has the basics in one box. You get a gel plate, a brayer, eight acrylic paints, four stencils and a guide, so beginners, card makers, art journalers and kids working with an adult can start straight away.

Paper is not included. Cartridge, copy paper, card stock and mixed media paper all work, though smooth ones suit it best. The plate suits photo transfers as well as custom prints. Clean it using a baby wipe or some soapy water, and keep it flat in the box so the surface stays smooth.
Staff tip
Keep your paint layers thin. A small amount spreads a long way on the plate, and thin layers give crisper, more detailed prints. Pull a ghost print from the paint still on the plate for a paler, softer second layer.
