- 12 Prismacolor Premier Soft Core pencils with soft, thick, wax based cores
- Colours: Poppy Red, Yellowed Orange, Canary Yellow, Salmon Pink, Seashell Pink, Grass Green, Moss Green, Light Aqua, Cobalt Turquoise, Electric Blue, Indanthrone Blue and Dioxazine Purple Hue
- Little pressure is needed for strong colour, and a colourless blender smooths the layers
- Dry pencils, so they do not work with water (Prismacolor Watercolour Pencils are the wet option)
- Best on drawing paper, Bristol, toned and mixed media paper
- Made to the same standard as the 12 pencil Premier tin, in a themed selection
Staff tip
Lay Electric Blue on top of Light Aqua, then go over it lightly with Seashell Pink so the water seems to glow from below.
Start with a light hand and build colour in layers, saving the darkest blues for last. Firmer pressure at the end burnishes the layers together.
