A calm, switch-off project that ends with a penguin on your wall. Numbered clay fills the sections of a 30 x 40cm pre-framed canvas, and you can keep the finish flat like a painting or sculpt it into real 3D texture.
In the box
- A 30 x 40cm canvas, pre-framed, which is 12 x 16 inches and can be hung once dry.
- Clay comes in numbered packs that are non-toxic and air dry, matched to the canvas.
- Three tools for sculpting and detail.
- An idea guide to follow, step by step.
- Black and white design that suits a lounge, a study or a kids room.
- Nothing to paint, wash or spill, and no water needed.
Staff tip
Keep the black and white sections level and smooth, and save the texture for the background. Contrast is what makes the penguin stand out.
Seal the clay back up between sessions so it does not dry out. Air dry clay sets without heat, so no oven or kiln is needed. Penguins hold a favourite spot in art, and the design is full of character.
