The Staedtler® Pigment Arts Multi Ink Blending Liquid 50ml is a colour-neutral, water-based blending medium specially designed for use with Staedtler® Pigment Arts Pens. It allows you to blend, mix and manipulate Multi Ink colours, creating smooth transitions and a range of creative effects.

Unlike a conventional blender that simply softens colours, this blending liquid is designed to reactivate and dissolve Staedtler Multi Ink, giving artists greater control over their artwork. Use it to create smooth colour transitions, gradients, watercolour-style effects and ombré effects, or to lighten colours and add highlights and reflections.

The blending liquid provides additional flexibility when working with Staedtler Pigment Arts Pens. Colours can be mixed directly on the artwork and blended into smooth transitions, making it ideal for illustration, colouring, lettering and expressive artwork.

It can also be used to brighten colours, create light reflections and soften or correct small areas. The blending liquid dries clear, so it does not add another colour to your artwork.

How to Use

Apply the Multi Ink Blending Liquid directly to your artwork using a paintbrush, or add it to a water brush for more controlled application.

For best results, use the blending liquid on watercolour paper or non-absorbent/low-absorbency surfaces. It can also be used to prepare absorbent paper before drawing, helping to reduce ink penetration and improve colour brilliance.
